Where to stay
We have confirmed a room block of 40 rooms for the nights of September 19 and 20 at the Holiday Inn Express, at a rate of $90.00 plus tax. Call the front desk directly at 620-669-5200, and mention you have a hotel restricted reservation. The group is 140 Conference. The reservation cut-off date for this block of rooms is September 5.
You can also consider one of these area hotels and B&B’s as additional options.
Two receptions are open to all 140 Conference attendees. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available. This is a chance for all attendees to get together and talk, outside the conference.
On Monday evening, September 19, a reception is planned at 6 p.m., at the Kansas Cosmosphere.
On Tuesday night immediately following the 140 Conference, a reception will be held at the Kansas Underground Salt Museum.
VIP & Speakers Dinner

Wifi will be provided by Hutchnet Wireless, but as always at events like this, is subject to ups and downs. Personal wifi and mifi are allowed, as long as they do not interfere with the main wifi coverage.
Come prepared to share
We want you to create content and share the conversation. That means yes, bring your video camera. Bring your camera. Interview each other. Tweet and blog during the event. Use the hashtag #140conf.
The official conference live-stream show will be on the 140Conference Ustream channel.
No live-streaming of video by audience members is allowed, because it will kill our bandwidth.
